I wasn’t sure initially if cucumbers under protected cultivation would make sense in our climate. Kryzen Biotech Pvt. Ltd. visited in peak summer, measured wind direction, and redesigned my planned greenhouse orientation by 15 degrees to improve airflow. We had a quote from Agriplast Protected Cultivation Pvt Ltd as well, but Kryzen included a detailed DPR, ROI math, and a phased irrigation plan that matched my budget better. We went with Dutch Bucket for cucumbers and a small NFT corner for trials. They installed filtration, nutrient dosing, and a controller for irrigation cycles. The Alpha platform login has been useful; I can log fertigation recipes and get reminders for calibration. One small delay occurred because the transport truck was stuck near Jadcherla, so commissioning slipped by four days. Training day was practical—my farmhands now check EC before every batch. First two cycles weren’t perfect because our water source changed after rains; their agronomist helped tweak pH and iron chelate dosing. Yields have stabilized and fruit size is uniform. The polyhouse gutters handle monsoon showers without dripping onto plants. We plan to add a basil NFT line next quarter. This project felt like a partnership rather than a one-off sale.
